Architect, Halliday Clark
BA (Hons) Dip. Arch RIBA FRSA
Adam is a founding Director of Halliday Clark Architects and specialises in the restoration and redevelopment of listed buildings and ancient monuments so that they are fit for modern day life.
Halliday Clark is a Bradford-based national practice delivering high quality Architectural services, on a range of projects including residential, educational, commercial and cultural buildings across the UK.
Adam leads a dedicated, highly trained team who will help breathe life back into the former Odeon building, creating a sustainable and creative community asset.
“In around 2007 we decided as a practice that we wanted to actively put something back into the city by targeting two or three major projects and putting some money aside to do detailed feasibility studies to take to the local authority, and the Odeon was one of them.
At the time, planning approval had been given for a total new build scheme to a previous developer, so we couldn’t take the scheme forward at the time until that had run its course. As soon as we realised that that contract had folded then Bradford One approached us to say ‘we know you’ve had some involvement in the building, we’d like to use you to take this forward but with a slightly amended brief’.”
